Have you ever thought about who would get your benefits through Texas Health in the event the unthinkable happens? Your death or the death of a family member is not an easy topic to think about, but take a few minutes now to add/review beneficiaries for your benefits to be sure they go where you want. We’ve made this list of benefits to review to help you.
Life Insurance and AD&D Insurance:
NOTE: Even if you chose not to elect additional coverage on these benefits, you get Basic coverage through Texas Health because you are a benefits eligible employee. This means you need to at least take action on these two benefits.

- Login to MyTHR.org
- Follow these instructions to make your choices

401(k):
To make your beneficiary choices online:
- Log on to Fidelity NetBenefits® at www.netbenefits.com/thr.
- Click the Profile link.
- Select Beneficiaries* and follow the online instructions.
Once you have completed your beneficiary designations, you will be able to view them on NetBenefits.

MetLife Supplemental Benefits:
To make your beneficiary choices online:
- Log on to MetLife.com
- In the “I want to…” drop down, click “Update Beneficiaries”
- Follow the online instructions to add or edit beneficiaries
Keep your information up to date
Please be sure to review your choices regularly and update them after certain life events, such as a marriage, divorce, birth of a child, or a death in the family.
