ID Cards in 2022
Medical: UnitedHealthcare
- Because of changes made to medical plan options in 2022 (such as the ER copay increase), every employee enrolled in a UHC medical plan for 2022 will receive a new ID card.
Medical: Texas Health Aetna
- Because of changes made to medical plan options in 2022 (such as the ER copay increase), every employee enrolled in the Texas Health Aetna 1000 plan will receive a new ID card.
- Employees enrolled in the Texas Health Aetna 3000 plan will not receive a new ID card, unless you newly elected coverage in this plan for 2022.
Health Savings Account: Health Equity
- If you enrolled in a Health Savings Account for the first time, you will receive your debit card by 1/1/2022.
- If you had a Health Savings Account in 2021 and re-elected it for 2022, your 2022 contributions will be loaded to your current card (meaning you don’t get a new card for 2022).
Dental: Aetna
- You do not need a member ID card to get care with Aetna Dental. When you go to your dentist, just tell the office your coverage is through Aetna, your name, date of birth, and Member ID# (or your social security number).
- If you would prefer to have a card, you may print one at aetna.com.
Vision: Superior Vision
- If you enrolled in coverage for the first time, you will receive an ID card by 1/1/2022.
- If you added a new dependent to coverage for 2022, you will receive an updated ID card by 1/1/2022.
- If you removed a dependent from your coverage for 2022, you will receive an updated ID card by 1/1/2022.
Health Care Flexible Spending Accounts: Wage Works
- If you enrolled in a Health Care Flexible Spending Account for the first time, you will receive your debit card by 1/1/2022. Please carefully check your mail—this card will arrive in unmarked envelope and can easily be mistaken for junk mail.
- If you were enrolled in a Health Care Flexible Spending Account in 2021 and re-elected it for 2022, your 2022 contributions will be loaded to your current card (meaning you don’t get a new card for 2022).
