ID Cards for your 2019 Benefits
Wondering if you should be on the lookout for new ID cards next year?
Medical: Texas Health Aetna or UnitedHealthcare
- If you enrolled in coverage through Texas Health Aetna or UnitedHealthcare for the first time, you will receive an ID card by 1/1/2019.
- If you added a new dependent to coverage for 2019, you will receive an updated ID card by 1/1/2019.
- If you changed the plan option you are enrolled in for 2019, you will receive an updated ID card by 1/1/2019.
- If you remained in the same plan option, you will not receive a new card.
Dental: Aetna
- You do not need a member ID card to get care with Aetna Dental. When you go to your dentist, just tell the office your name, date of birth, and Member ID# (or your social security number).
- If you would prefer to have a card, you may print one at aetna.com.
Vision: Superior Vision
- If you enrolled in coverage for the first time, you will receive an ID card by 1/1/2019.
- If you added a new dependent to coverage for 2019, you will receive an updated ID card by 1/1/2019.
Flexible Spending Account: PayFlex
- If you enrolled in a Flexible Spending Account for the first time, you will receive your debit card by 1/1/2019.
- If you had a Flexible Spending Account in 2018, your 2019 funds will be loaded to your current card.
