ID Cards for 2018 Benefits
Should you be expecting a new ID card for 2018 coverage?
Medical: Texas Health Aetna
- If you enrolled in the Texas Health Aetna Select Plan 1000, you will receive an ID card by 1/1/2018.
Medical: UnitedHealthcare
- If you enrolled in coverage for the first time, you will receive an ID card by 1/1/2018.
- If you added a new dependent to coverage for 2018, you will receive an updated ID card by 1/1/2018.
- If you changed the plan you are enrolled in for 2018, you will receive an updated ID card by 1/1/2018.
- If you remained in the same plan, you will not receive a new card.
Dental: Aetna
- You do not need a member ID card to get care with Aetna Dental. When you go to your dentist, just tell the office your name, date of birth, and Member ID# (or your social security number). If you would prefer to have a card, you may print one at www.aetna.com.
Vision: Superior Vision
- If you enrolled in coverage for the first time, you will receive an ID card by 1/1/2018.
- If you added a new dependent to coverage for 2018, you will receive an updated ID card by 1/1/2018.
FSA: PayFlex
- If you enrolled in an FSA for the first time, you will receive your account debit card by 1/1/2018.
- If you had an FSA in 2017, your 2018 funds will be loaded to your current card.
