If you are enrolled in the medical plan in 2017, you’ll want to get screened early for your Be Healthy Basics to earn 2018 Wellness Credits. Wellness Credits can help lower medical premiums by adding additional income to each paycheck.

There are three convenient options to get your Be Healthy Basics screening. Pick the option that is most convenient for you:

  1. Onsite Employee Health Fairs This is a free, voluntary benefit offered to employees. Health fairs will be held in the first and third quarters in 2017. Get your screening, talk with a health coach, and visit a variety of benefit vendors to get answers to any benefits questions you might have. Click here for Q1 health fair dates.
  2. Quest Labs Quest Labs is replacing Lab Corp in 2017. A form will be required to get screened, but there is still no charge.
  3. Your Doctor Schedule an appointment with your doctor (must be on the THR medical plan) to get your screening completed. A form will be required to get screened.

To be eligible to earn Wellness Credits, you must be enrolled in the medical plan, get screened, and submit applicable documentation by Sept. 30, 2017. New lab and doctor forms will be available here by January 1, 2017.

If your screening results are outside healthy ranges: You may complete three Rally missions (concurrently) on the Rally Rewards site to earn your missing metrics and wellness credits. Each mission lasts 4-5 weeks and must be completed by Sept. 30, 2017, so don’t delay if you need to utilize this option! The link to Rally is available on (Note: You must get screened before beginning missions in order to earn wellness credits)

Missions are short term goals that will help you improve your health. From drinking enough water each day to getting plenty of sleep each night, Rally gives you Missions you can achieve. Some of the Missions might even surprise you, such as doing something creative each day, laughing or calling friends more often.

If you can’t complete a screening due to medical reasons (example: pregnancy): If you can’t complete the Be Healthy Basics for medical reasons or have a dispute, visit your physician to complete the Reasonable Alternative Action Form. The form must be completed by your physician and submitted by Sept. 30, 2017.
