Virgin Pulse Activities


The Be Healthy program is powered by Virgin Pulse. In this online and mobile wellness platform, you can redeem Be Healthy rewards and complete a variety of wellness activities to earn rewards. Virgin Pulse is designed to meet you where you are on your well-being journey so you can take care of yourself—body, mind and spirit.  


Employees and their spouses that have active medical coverage through Texas Health Resources are eligible to access the Virgin Pulse platform and participate in Virgin Pulse activities.


All Virgin Pulse Activities must be completed in the Virgin Pulse platform, although some activities will require you to sync compatible devices or apps with your Virgin Pulse Account. 

  • To get the most out of your Virgin Pulse membership, you can participate in the activities using the Virgin Pulse mobile app. 
  • You can also participate online by going to and selecting the Benefits tile. Click the Be Healthy Rewards link on the left. The Virgin Pulse site will open in a new window.

Note: If you/your enrolled spouse do not have a Virgin Pulse account, registration must be completed when you first visit the site.

Complete Virgin Pulse Activities

Reach your health goals by choosing what you want to work on (and earn rewards along the way!). 

Complete 1x

  • Complete a Health Check Survey: a confidential online survey that looks at your current health and can give you suggestions on how to improve. From the Health tab of the Virgin Pulse platform, click Health Check in the top banner to get started. 
  • Track sleep 20 days in a month: sync a compatible device with your Virgin Pulse account. Pick a sleep profile, get customized tips, and see all your sleep data in one place. Track your sleep 20 days in a month to earn Be Healthy rewards. 
  • Track Healthy Habits 20 days in a month: pick from topics such as getting active, reducing stress, building relationships and so many more. Build your habit throughout the month by tracking it for 20 days. 

Complete up to 2x

  • Complete 20 daily cards in a month: complete the GOT IT! daily cards on your member dashboard. These cards share simple activities and pro tips on eating healthier, staying active, etc. Click on GOT IT! to complete the card. Complete 20 daily cards in a month to earn Be Healthy rewards. 
  • Track calories 20 days in a month: got a sweet tooth? Eat whatever’s easy? Pick your nutrition profile and Virgin Pulse will serve up healthy tips and great recipes from Zipongo — just for you. Track your calories 20 days in a month to earn Be Healthy rewards. 

  • Track 7,000 steps or 15 active minutes or 15 workout minutes 20 days in a month: connect a compatible device to track your steps, active minutes, workout minutes, sleep, etc. Track 7,000 steps or 15 active minutes or 15 workout minutes 20 days in a month to earn Be Healthy rewards.

  • Complete a Journey and/or Spotlight Challenge 


reward-iconExplore new ways to learn and earn Be Healthy rewards through the Virgin Pulse activities listed below. Employees can earn $25 for each activity completed and spouses can earn up to $10 for each activity completed. 

If you are enrolled in medical coverage through Texas Health, you have a variety of programs and activities to choose from to earn UP TO $300 in Be Healthy rewards this year, in addition to the ability to earn up to $520 in wellness credits for next year. If your spouse is enrolled in coverage, they can choose from programs and activities to earn UP TO $175 in Be Healthy rewards this year.
